This is a 00 layout of the station complex in Abingdon in 1948, at the end of the branch line from Radley. Regrettably, passenger services ceased in 1963 and the line closed in 1985. The site now is largely occupied by Waitrose with a senior citizens home on the site of the station building.

The project was initially a joint undertaking by 2 club members, however, since it's errection at the club room it has become a club project. No less than 58 members are, or have been, involved in advancing the project.

It's debut was at The Abingdon Exhibition on 7th March 2009. It is booked to go to Reading in September 2010 and Didcot in October 2010.
